From August 1, 2025, new UPI rules limit balance checks to 50 times a day and account info retrieval to 25 times. The pending transaction status can be checked only three times daily with a 90-second gap. UPI Autopay for bills is now restricted to non-peak hours to ease system load during busy periods.
