Vivo has reportedly halted development of its in-house AI smart glasses after internal reviews flagged limited differentiation and market viability. Challenges around standardised components, battery life and heat management influenced the decision. Instead, Vivo is expected to redirect resources towards mixed reality, building on its existing Vision MR headset platform.
