Arattai, an India-made messaging app by Zoho, is emerging as a secure alternative to WhatsApp. Supporting text, voice, and video communication, it allows groups of up to 1,000 members with 50 admins. Zoho's Sridhar Vembu said it will work in low end phones and low bandwidth networks. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, 'Arattai is free, easy-to-use, secure, safe and ‘Made in India’.'
