YouTube is updating its video player with new controls, icons, and smoother navigation across mobile, web, and TV. From October 13, users globally will get visual updates and features for a cleaner and engaging experience. Google has also improved engagement with custom like animations, easier saving to Watch Later or playlists, and a threaded comments system for organised conversations.
