United Parcel Service (UPS) has reportedly cut around 48,000 jobs this year, one of the largest single-year reductions by a US company since the pandemic. Most layoffs affected truck drivers and warehouse staff, while 14,000 corporate employees were also impacted. The restructuring included automation and facility closures, which have saved USD 2.2 billion to boost efficiency.
