On March 19, a US F-35 stealth jet made an emergency landing at a Middle Eastern base after being struck by suspected Iranian fire during a mission over Iran. The IRGC claimed it "seriously damaged" the USD 100M aircraft using advanced air defenses. CENTCOM confirmed the pilot is safe and an investigation is currently underway.
