South African cricketer Dale Steyn was probably having a great day until this happened. The man took to Twitter simply asking the whereabouts of his fans when he was dumped down with posters from stills of song Adchithooku from South actor Ajith's upcoming Tamil movie Viswasam. Steyn tweeted asking, "What’s happening Twitter?" on Monday and in seconds the comments section were filled with dedicated Ajith fans tweeting out his movie posters and other photos.

The hijacking did not end there; former New Zealand cricketer Iain O'Brien who tried replying to Steyn also got a dose of Ajith fans' enthusiasm. And some were considerate enough to update Steyn on who and what the tweets meant. Sharing still from a video of cricketers Matthew Hayden and Bret Lee dancing, a fan tweeted saying if Steyn didn't know who Ajith Kumar is, then they should ask the cricketers. Rajinikanth's Petta or Thala Ajith's Viswasam - Which Tamil Pongal 2019 Movie Are You Most Excited About? Here is Dale Steyn's tweet:

And here is what followed:

Ajith fans invade Twitter

Neither was Iain O'Brien spared:

These guys deserve 'Best Fans Award'

Viswasam is releasing on January 14, 2019.

We wonder if Steyn even made head or tail of the tweets and in case not, we would like to update him on the same. Ajith Kumar is a quite popular South Indian movie actor and has a great fan following on social media and otherwise. He continues to be the heartthrob of many at the age of 47 and has starred in over 50 films. Everytime the actor has a movie coming up, his fans (like many other fans and fan clubs of Indian actors) go berserk on Twitter tweeting about the movie and everything around it.
