Nearly, a month ago, Christian Moore from Georgia, asked her Facebook friends if they know where she could purchase a reasonable, “crocodile gait trainer size 1,” for her two-year-old disabled son, Logan. He has hypotonia, which results in low muscle tone and Moore through her Facebook post said that the family was not getting enough help from their health insurance. Tired of the way Logan’s health insurance was responding, Moore decided to take help from a nearby Home Depot. The employees helped the family to look for parts and eventually build the toddler a makeshift walker. Soon the two-year-old happy face in his new DIY walker went viral, but Twitter was raging over it and instead pointed out the massive disparities in the United States healthcare system. From ‘Infinity’ Baby Born in Car to Old-Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail Tutorial, 7 Clips That Are a Must Watch.

“Everyone was crying to see Logan walk around with the biggest smile on his face,” a Home Depot employee, Jeffrey Anderson wrote on his Facebook post. Logan got the walker for free, but people online were less than impressed.

Logan Gets His New Makeshift Walker

The reason, Twitterati raged over it is because the family had to depend on Home Depot for medical care, despite having a healthcare system, which promises better and affordable medical services. The child is using a makeshift walker built out of DIY materials instead of an appropriate walking aid. Netizens pointed out that healthcare in the US has become a luxury and today, many people are unable to afford even the basics to survive.

Twitter is Not Happy!

It was indeed a happy moment for the child but a sad reality that sort of hit every parent across. Updated reports now claim that Moore will be getting a real walker soon.
