Ahmedabad, August 14: In a one of its kind surgey, a team of doctors at Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad removed 3.5 kg of metal objects from the stomach of a patient. The man was operated upon on August 9 and objects such as stomach-coins, pins, spring, earrings, spark plugs and sharp pins were found in his belly. The amount of metal objects found in the person's stomach weighed 3.5 kgs. Dr Kalpesh Parmar of Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad said that, "We operated him on August 9 and found a nunmber of foreign objects in his stomach."

The man complained of severe stomach pain and difficulty in breathing. When tests were done on the person to find the root cause of his health ailment, reports showed a pin stuck in the respiratory system of the person.

The doctors found as many as 452 objects from the man's stomach. The 28-year-old man hails from Bapunagar in Ahmedabad. He is sufering from psychological troubles for about a decade, said reports.
