What is No Trouser On the Tube?

The term in itself is self-explanatory; where commuters in London strip down to their underwear and ride the tube. This event is a part of the worldwide No Pants Subway Ride, which began in New York in 2002. Ever since then, the ide has reportedly spread across 60 cities in the world including Tokyo Jerusalem and Moscow.

According to reports, the event in London was organised by The Stiff Upper Lip Society which asked the supporters and participants to “avoid thongs/budgie-smugglers/anything see-through though, as we aim to amuse, not offend, fellow Underground users.” Daily Mail stated that the event also took place in Berlin and Prague on January 13 where dozens of passengers hopped on the Metro, half-dressed.
