OJP Targets CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke
One of the central themes of OJP’s campaign is its attempt to highlight alleged political links between Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The group has pointed to Dipke’s earlier involvement in AAP’s social media and election campaign activities. It also resurfaced an older post in which Dipke thanked former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia before leaving for Boston.
“I’m truly grateful for all the opportunities you provided me while working with you. Leaving for Boston with your guidance as my compass. No distance will ever weaken my commitment to AAP," Dipke had tweeted. OJP has also claimed that the rapid rise of CJP reflects a “peak unemployment” moment in India and accused the movement of influencing Gen Z audiences through social media-driven political satire.
In one Instagram post, OJP criticised the glorification of the “cockroach” identity by sharing images of Indian freedom fighters alongside the caption: “A land shaped by the sharpness of swords is witnessing its youths taking pride in calling themselves ‘cockroaches’.
