Patna, April 9: Tej Pratap, the son of former Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, is making news for his upcoming marriage with Aishwarya Rai, the daughter of incumbent RJD MLA Chandrika Rai. The duo, along with family members were photographed at the Patna airport on Sunday. The image has been going viral on social media.

The two families met at Patna airport yesterday when Tej Pratap returned from Delhi, where he had gone to visit his father Lalu, admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Services (AIIMS).

Tej Pratap, 32, is the elder son of Lalu. In the 2015 assembly elections, he was elected for the first time to the Bihar assembly. In the government led by the Mahagathbandhan, Tejashwi held the Environment portfolio in the Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The government, however, fall apart after Nitish pulled back from the grand alliance and joined hands with the former ally, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Tej Pratap's younger brother Tejashwi, who was the Deputy CM in the erstwhile government, is now the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar assembly.
