Brazilian musician Sergio Santos Mendes has passed away at the age of 83. TMZ first shared the sad news of his passing. Mendes, a part of the band Brasil '66, had an illustrious career spanning 6 decades. Mendes played a pivotal role in popularising Brazilian music around the world. The three-time Grammy Award winner's biggest hits include "Mas Que Nada", "The Look of Love", "Scarborough Fair", and "Night and Day", among others. The reason behind this is not yet confirmed. Mendes is survived by his wife, Gracinha Leporcae, and their 5 children.
