The incident occurred near the Son River in Khitauli, in the South Forest Division Range. A video shows the leopard charging at the group and injuring three individuals—Nitin Samdariya, 35, an off-duty police officer, Akash Kushwaha, 23, and Nandini Singh, 25. The woman and officer suffered severe head injuries. Panic broke out as the group tried to flee, with others sustaining minor injuries in the chaos.
