In the horrible accident, an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus carrying 90 passengers fell into the rivulet after hitting the bridge railing, leaving 9 people dead and several injured. The bus was en route to Jangareddygudem from Aswaraopet and the accident took place at Jilleruvagu in Jangareddygudem in West Godavari district.
