A 23-year-old Bengaluru man was arrested for pranking women on an escalator in a Namma Metro station and inside a train and sharing the videos of the same on his Instagram account. According to a Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) official, Prajwal, a man who recorded and shared prank videos on Instagram Reels under the account name of “Pranker Praju", has been booked by authorities. The videos were recorded in July 2023 and showed Prajwal playing pranks on the Namma Metro train and escalator. In one of the videos, he pretended to have a seizure on the escalator, causing panic among other passengers. According to the reports, Prajwal has been fined Rs 500.
