When Devi's husband, Dileshwar Darve, noticed their closeness, he confronted them, leading to a public admission of their relationship in the village panchayat. In a viral video circulating on social media, Yadav can be seen applying sindoor to Devi's hairline, symbolising their union, as villagers cheer on.
