The portals of Gangotri Dham opened on Saturday morning and the traditional rituals were performed at the occasion. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, authorities had said that the portals of Yamunotri and Gangotri will open on Friday and Saturday respectively without any pilgrims in attendance.
