A disturbing video of child abuse going viral on social media shows a woman hitting her children with a belt in Mumbai. The two-minute 46-second video clip shows the woman scolding her children in Gujarati as she goes about hitting her children with a belt in her hand. As the video moves further, the woman is seen hitting her children again as they cry inconsolably. The woman's alleged assault on her children has drawn criticism from several people, including SJ Kathawalla, a retired judge of the Bombay High Court. Kathawala has urged the police and child rights and human rights groups to take action against the woman.
