Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday urged people of the state to follow COVID-19 safety norms to avoid lockdown. Maharashtra reported 8,293 COVID-19 cases in the Past 24 hours. It is for the fifth consecutive day that the western state of India recorded over 8,000 coronavirus infections.
