In a disturbing incident in Ghaziabad, a three-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped in broad daylight in the Kasba Chowki area after her father refused to return her to her maternal home. The incident, which occurred on September 29 at noon, was captured on CCTV footage showing a masked man approaching the child, picking her up, and walking away. The girl’s grandmother attempted to intervene but was thwarted by three other men who restrained her. As chaos ensued, another masked woman joined the kidnapper, and the group fled despite neighbours' attempts to rescue the child. Following the video's circulation on social media, police launched an investigation and identified the suspects as the girl’s maternal uncles. Reports indicate that the girl's mother died in an accident two years ago, and tensions escalated after her father refused to let her return to her maternal home, prompting the kidnapping.
