A man was arrested after a video showing him assaulting a woman at a society in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida went viral on social media. The video showed a man forcefully grabbing a woman’s hair and slapping her in the parking lot of Omaxe Palm Green Society. The incident, which was witnessed by bystanders, saw the young woman being rescued from the man’s grasp by those present. Despite no formal complaint being initially filed, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has taken note of the incident. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the police stated, “No application/information has been given in relation to the above case at Dadri police station.
