The alleged assault occurred on the streets of Hyderabad in Maduranagar when the pet parent was walking his pet dog. As the video moves further, a man, along with his friends, is seen attacking and beating the pet parent, identified as Srinath and his wife with sticks. Later, one of the attackers is also seen trying to beat the dog but stops as locals intervene.
