On October 16, he shared his directive on X, stating, "I have spoken to the DG Jammu and Kashmir Police that there is to be no 'green corridor' or traffic stoppage when I move anywhere by road." Abdullah stressed the need to minimise public inconvenience, instructing police to limit the use of sirens and avoid aggressive gestures. He urged his cabinet colleagues to adopt a similar approach, reinforcing that their conduct must remain people-friendly. "We are here to serve the people, not to inconvenience them," he asserted.
