A disturbing incident has surfaced from Mahatma Phule Vidyalaya in Ahmedpur in Maharashtra's Latur, where four teachers, including the principal, allegedly assaulted a 21-year-old student. The student, identified as Rohan Uttam Kamble, had reportedly visited the school to collect his sister’s transfer certificate when he was brutally beaten. A video of the assault, now viral on social media, also shows teachers snatching a mobile phone from Kamble’s sister, who attempted to record the incident. Following the attack, Kamble lodged a complaint at the Ahmedpur police station. A case has been registered under relevant IPC sections and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act for caste-based abuse.
