In a shocking incident, a man pushed his wife into a well over a dowry demand in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch. The man threw the woman, who is said to be pregnant, into the well and hanged her with a rope. He further recorded the video and sent it to his in-laws, demanding Rs. 5 lakh as a dowry. The incident reportedly occurred on August 20. The accused, identified as Rakesh Kir, was arrested after the video went viral.
