In a shocking incident at a toll plaza on the Pauri Highway in the Mavana police station area, a group of assailants brutally attacked toll workers after being asked to pay the toll fee. A video of the incident surfaced on August 14. The violent encounter, which involved six attackers arriving in a Bolero car, left two toll workers seriously injured. The attackers, after refusing to pay the toll, chased down the toll workers, beating them severely and even resorting to firing shots. The incident was captured on the toll plaza's CCTV cameras, providing clear evidence of the brazen attack. The Meerut Police have registered a case at the Mavana police station.
