Mumbai: Sunil Raut, Brother of Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, Booked for Calling Shiv Sena Candidate Suvarna Karanje 'Scapegoat' in Vikhroli

Sunil Raut, brother of Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, has been booked by Mumbai's Vikhroli Police for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Suvarna Karanje, a candidate from the rival Shiv Sena faction. In a controversial statement, Raut referred to Karanje as a "scapegoat" and suggested she should be "slaughtered" on election day, November 20. Karanje subsequently filed a complaint, arguing that Raut's comments were disrespectful to women.
