An MMRDA official today, June 21, dismissed claims of cracks being developed on the Atal Setu bridge in Mumbai. The clarification by the MMRDA came after Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole shared photos claiming cracks developed on the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL). In its post on X (formerly Twitter), MMRDA said cracks developed on the approach road connecting MTHL from Ulwe towards Mumbai and not on the Atal Setu bridge. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, also known as Atal Setu, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 12.
