West Bengal government allows sale of only green crackers during festive season. People can burn these crackers from only gtwo hours from 8-10 pm on Diwali.
West Bengal Pollution Control Board on Wednesday said that only crackers could be sold in the state. In West Bengal, people can burn crackers only for two only from 8-10 pm on Diwali.6-8pm on Chhatth Puja, 35 minutes on Christmas and New Year's eve from 11:55 pm to 12:30 am.
Only green crackers can be sold in West Bengal & bursting of such crackers shall be allowed for 2 hrs during Diwali from 8-10 pm, 2 hours during Chhatt Puja from 6-8 am and 35 minutes during Christmas & New Year's eve from 11:55 pm to 12:30 am: West Bengal Pollution Control Board pic.twitter.com/k9AgOfccGK
