Police Brutality: Six Punjab Police Personnel, Including SP, Accused of Assaulting Lawyer in Custody

Six police personnel, including SP Investigation Ramandeep Singh Bhullar and CIA Incharge Inspector Raman Kumar Kamboj, have been booked by Muktsar police on charges of subjecting a lawyer to unnatural sex, custodial torture, and criminal intimidation. Reportedly, the complaint was filed by the Muktsar chief judicial magistrate (CJM) Raj Pal Raw, adding to the gravity of the case. The lawyer, who was arrested on September 14, accused seven police officers, including an SP-level officer and a DSP, of assaulting him and engaging in unnatural sex while in police custody.
