A family, disappointed with police’s inaction against drug peddlers, pasted posters written with 'chitta sold here' in a market situated in the vicinity of Gurdwara Shaheedan. Locals gathered and raised slogans against the Punjab government alleging that police was hand in glove with peddlers. The video of the place which is doing rounds on social media shows posters reading 'chitta sold here' pasted on the windows and doors of the shops.
