Rahul Gandhi Slams Centre Over ‘Lack’ of Representation of OBCs, Says ‘Out of 90 Secretaries in Govt, Only 3 Come From OBC’ (Watch Video)
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi backed women's reservation bill in Parliament and flagged an important point. Earlier today in Parliament, Sonia Gandhi initiated debate on quota bill from opposition's side.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, during a debate over the Women's Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha, pushed for the legislation. Congress MP said in Parliament that the Women's Reservation Bill is incomplete without including OBC women. He added that there is no need for delimitation and census and to give 33 percent quota to women. He took a jibe at the Centre over the lack of inclusivity of OBCs in government offices. "Was shocked to find out that out of 90 secretaries in govt of India, only three are OBCs," Rahul Gandhi said.
