In a disturbing incident, the staff of Joshi Wadewale in Maharashtra's Raigad allegedly thrashed a pregnant woman and her husband after they complained about the salt content in their vada. The incident occurred at the Joshi Wadewale franchise near the railway station in Raigad's Mangaon town on September 11. The couple, who were having breakfast at the establishment, noticed that the vada they ordered was excessively salty. When they brought this to the attention of the staff, a confrontation ensued, leading to the employees reportedly beating the couple.
