On August 13, Baghel, along with Akash Rai, stormed the shop, holding an employee at gunpoint, as seen in a viral CCTV video. After fleeing with the loot, police launched an investigation, scanning around 400 CCTVs and identifying Baghel. Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra stated that Baghel conducted a recce of the shop before the crime. The other arrested individuals include Akash Rai’s family members and a friend who provided the pistol. The stolen goods were recovered from the accused, who had aided in the crime.
