A video going viral on social media shows Maharashtra minister and Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Shirsat, smoking a cigarette next to a bag full of cash. The viral clip comes a day after Shirsat received a notice from the income-tax department, which sought an explanation from him on the growth of his assets between the 2019 and 2024 Assembly polls in the state. Coming back to the video, Maharashtra's Minister for Social Justice is seen sitting on a bed wearing a vest and shorts and smoking a cigarette. The viral clip also shows a bag full of cash present in Shirsat's room.
