The Supreme Court Wednesday, November 13, ruled that it is unconstitutional to demolish a person’s house without following the due process of law merely because they are allegedly involved in a crime.
The Supreme Court ruled Wednesday, November 13, that it is unconstitutional to demolish a person’s house without following due process of law merely because they are allegedly involved in a crime while hearing petitions against the bulldozing of homes and private properties of accused persons by states. "The executive can't declare a person guilty. If based only on allegation, it demolishes his house, it would strike at basic principle of Rule of Law.
