Soundarya Amudamozhi, a news anchor at a private Tamil news channel, passed away on July 26 after losing a six-month battle with blood cancer. Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi expressed his condolences on X, calling her a "young, bright, and promising news presenter." In a heartfelt tweet, he extended sympathies to her family and friends.
