Modi questioned the sense of deprivation felt by Muslims during previous governments and urged them to consider their future. He emphasised, "I urge the Muslim 'samaj' to think about the future of their children, and also about their own future." Modi encouraged Muslims to take control of BJP offices, asserting, "Go take control of BJP Office, who is stopping you?"
