The wife, employed as a government doctor, had been living separately from her husband for the past year following a dispute. The husband, suspicious of his wife's activities, forcefully entered the hotel room to find all three individuals together. In the ensuing altercation, all parties involved were subjected to physical violence. Police intervened, arresting five individuals, including the husband, the two lovers, and two male relatives of the husband, under charges of breaching peace.
