In an unfortunate incident in Uttar Pradesh, a 25-year-old man allegedly died by suicide over a high electricity bill. It is reported that the man, identified as Shubham, was upset because he repeatedly received high electricity bills. A journalist who shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) said that last month, Shubham received an electricity bill of more than INR 1 lakh. Post this, he made several rounds of the officials, which led to his electricity bill being corrected.
