In Uttar PradeshтАЩs Raebareli's Churuwa village, a man named Jeetu Singh was arrested after allegedly beating his wife, Chandni, leading to her death. The couple, married for two years, had a heated argument on Thursday when Chandni objected to Jeetu's frequent drinking and bringing friends home. The argument escalated, and Jeetu severely beat Chandni, who was hospitalised and later succumbed to her injuries. Villagers accused Jeetu and his friends of gang rape and murder, causing unrest during the funeral proceedings. However, the police stated that the post-mortem report did not confirm gang rape; instead, Chandni's death resulted from head injuries. Based on the victim's sister's complaint, Jeetu was arrested and charged.┬атАШTake Off Your Clothes, I Want to See Injury Marks on Your BodyтАЩ: Magistrate Asks Gang Rape Survivor to Strip in Rajasthan, Booked.
