A tragic accident occurred on the Gangotri National Highway in Uttarkashi, where a passenger bus carrying 27 pilgrims plunged into a gorge last night, June 11. The bus driver reportedly lost control, after which the bus veered off the highway, broke through the railing, and fell 15-20 meters below. While 15 injured passengers were rescued by SDRF, police, NDRF, ambulances, and rapid response teams, three lost their lives in the accident.
