Women’s Reservation Bill: AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi Opposes Legislation Seeking Quota for Women Citing No Amendments for OBC and Muslim Women (Watch Video)

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimee president and MP Asaduddin Owaisi opposed the newly tabled Women’s Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha today. Asaduddin Owaisi, during the debate over the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament, cited no amendments for OBC and Muslim women as the reason behind the party's stand. “On behalf of my party, I stand to oppose this (Women’s Reservation) legislation because the justification being given to bring the legislation is to ensure that more women get elected into the Parliament and the state assemblies.
