Ahead of Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections, former Chief Minister and Congress leader Kamal Nath hit out at the BJP on Friday, September 22, claiming that the state is reeling under corruption. Addressing a public meeting, Kamal Nath said atrocities against women and tribal have increased and investments have decreased under BJP rule in Madhya Pradesh. "The state is number 1 in corruption, unemployment, atrocities against tribal and women. I am not giving this data, it has been published by the central government. This is the situation of our state today. Every person in the state is either a witness to corruption or a victim of it.
