The Indian cricketer reacted to reports on him doing the rounds which stated that he has been accused of domestic violence. Amit Mishra had a decent career for the India national cricket team, playing 22 Tests, 36 ODIs and 10 Tests where he took 76, 64 and 16 wickets, respectively.
Indian cricketer Amit Mishra has rubbished reports on him being accused on domestic violence by his wife. Several reports, on April 22, claimed that Amit Mishra's wife, Garima Mishra has accused him of domestic violence and also alleged harassment for dowry. He has lashed out at the media for using his image in 'unrelated stories' on domestic violence. In a post on X, the leg-spinner slammed the media for using his image in the story and also said that would he would 'be forced to take legal action'. "I’m extremely disappointed by what’s being circulated in the media. I’ve always respected the press, but while the news itself may be accurate, the photograph used is mine—which is completely incorrect," he wrote on X.
