Confident India continue their winning streak as they demolish Nepal on their way to secure a semifinal berth from Group A by winning all three matches of their group.
India are the first team to enter the Women's Asia Cup T20 2024 semifinal as they win all three games of the group stages. In the last and the final game of the group stage, the Women in Blue defeated Nepal by a thrashing 82 runs. India won the toss and opted to bat first. As Harmanpreet Kaur and Pooja Vastrakar were rested, Smriti Mandhana led India and allowed Dayalan Hemalatha to open alongside Shafali Verma. The duo gave a solid start to India, putting up a century partnership. Jemimah Rodrigues finished well and powered India to a score of 178/3. Sita Rana Magar picked two wickets for Nepal. Chasing it, Nepal were nowhere in the game and Indian bowlers maintained their bowling form to restrict them for 96/9 and secure a dominant victory.
