India clinched the Asia Cup 2023 title beating Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 final. They have been consistent throughout in the continental competition, scalping big wins against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super Four stage. They topped it with an emphatic performance in the final, scalping title victory. After the match as the cricketers returned to their team hotel in Colombo, they received loud cheer from the fans in the lobby.
