Chasing 202 to win, Rajasthan Royals lost Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson early, but a 134-run partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag brought back the inaugural champions into the contest. However, late wickets and disciplined death bowling saw Sunrisers bag the win by one run.
