Manchester United Wins FA Cup 2023-24, Beats Manchester City 2-1 to Clinch Title
Although Manchester City were the favourites, United came on the winning side as they put up an inspired effort at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Manchester United have turned the odds in their favour as they defeated Manchester City in the final of the FA Cup 2023-24 to clinch the title. United outfoxed City in sudden bursts in the first half with Alejandro Garnacho giving them the lead from a error from Josko Gvardiol. It was soon extended by Kobbie Mainoo from a nice assist from Bruno Fernandes. United shut shop immediately after and despite City's extended efforts, they defended well. Jeremy Doku reduced the lead through a last minute effort but it was too little too late for City. Leeds United, Southampton Battle for Promotion in Premier League 2024-25.
